Keisha U Ellis, APRN

Keisha Urene Ellis, DNP, FNP-C, a doctorally prepared, board-certified family nurse practitioner, earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Maryville University of Saint Louis in 2023, following her Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner studies there in 2016 and a BSN from Adelphi University in 2006. A retired U.S. Army veteran, Ms. Ellis also served as a preceptor to graduate nurse practitioner students, guiding the next generation of clinicians. Ms. Ellis provided primary care at Eastern New Mexico Medical Group in Roswell, NM. Prior to that, she worked at Roswell Osteopathic Clinic from 2017 to 2018. Passionate about heart health and addressing diabetes, her approach to patient care emphasizes empathetic listening, thorough assessment, and collaborative decision-making, ensuring individualized treatment plans that promote wellness. Ms. Ellis chose healthcare to serve her community and improve patients' quality of life. She has volunteered in local health screenings and initiatives supporting older adults, demonstrating dedication to vulnerable populations. Outside of work, she values volunteering and spending time with her family.
