Kayla Nicole Smith, PAC

Ms. Kayla Nicole Smith, PA-C, is a certified Physician Assistant with a strong background in family medicine and a passion for serving underserved communities. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical University of South Carolina and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Coastal Carolina University. Ms. Smith has extensive experience diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, performing in-office procedures, and providing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for patients with opioid use disorder. She practiced at St. James Health in Georgetown, SC, and Plexus Health in Kershaw, SC, where she also contributed to diabetes care protocols and patient education. Her clinical interests include chronic disease management and women's health, and she has presented at both local and national conferences. Outside of her clinical work, Ms. Smith enjoys the outdoors, spending time with family, and traveling. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the South Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants.
