Kavithamani Mallan, APRN

I became a family nurse practitioner because I want to help people and give back to the community. Volunteering at health fairs, fundraising events, and disaster recovery efforts are important to me. I have a lot of respect for older adults and believe in helping people take control of their health. I also believe in disease prevention. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Central South University in Savannah, Georgia. I also studied nursing at Grand Canyon University and at KG School of Nursing in Coimbatore, India. I worked with families at B&D Integrated Health Services in Durham, North Carolina. I was a nurse at WakeMed Hospital in Cary, North Carolina, and at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. I also worked at Cardiff and Vale National Health Service Trust in Cardiff, Wales, and at Vijaya Hospital in Chennai, India. When I'm not working, I enjoy traveling with my family and having fun with my friends.
