Katherine Back, APRN

Mrs. Katherine Ann Back, MS, RN, FNP-BC, AGNP-BC, is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in family and adult-gerontology primary care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, and later completed a Post-Master's Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Mrs. Back has provided care across primary care, urgent care, correctional health, mental health, and home-based settings, managing complex and high-risk patient panels while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. She has served in leadership roles, including Provider Manager, where she supervised and trained advanced practice providers and supported clinical program development. Her experience includes teaching nursing students at Purdue University and providing care to seniors in assisted living and memory care environments. She is passionate about addressing caregiving needs, obesity, and food insecurity. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, reading and enjoying the outdoors.
