Dr. Karyn Harries, a board-certified family medicine specialist, completed the University of Illinois, Christ Hospital Family Practice Residency Program following an internship at the University of Illinois, Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Harries earned her medical degree from the Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, following a B.S. in Biology from Pacific Lutheran University. She served as a preceptor at Touro University of Nevada and UNLV School of Medicine. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Dr. Harries practiced family medicine with Intermountain Healthcare and previously at Priest River Medical Clinic in Priest River, ID. Her experience in hospital settings includes Kellogg Medical Center and La Porte Urgent Care. Dr. Harries is the daughter of a family practice doctor and worked in her father's clinic for many years, which shaped her as a healthcare provider. She loves treating older adults, listening, and getting to know them. Dr. Harries chose medicine driven by a life-long passion for helping others and serving her community. In her free time, she enjoys her family, the outdoors, and going to the movies.
