Dr. Karen Chabrier, MD, is a Family Medicine Physician with four decades of experience providing compassionate, comprehensive care. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis, earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania, and went on to complete a surgical internship with the U.S. Navy before finishing her residency at the Hassler Center for Family Medicine. A decorated military veteran, Dr. Chabrier was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal for performing emergency surgery at sea, reflecting her exceptional skill and dedication to patient care. Her career has been shaped by a commitment to service, clinical excellence, and supporting patients through every stage of life. Originally from Carmichael, California, she is the mother of seven adult children. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, crafting, and following her favorite sports.
