Kam Wei Chan, MD

Dr. Kam Chan, MD, is a Family Medicine Physician dedicated to improving patients' lives through attentive listening, prevention focused care, and long term wellness support. She earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina after completing a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the College of Charleston, followed by residency training in Family Medicine at Montgomery. Over her extensive career, Dr. Chan has provided care across multiple clinical settings, including longstanding roles at Carolina Health Center/Lakeland Family Practice, The Regional Medical Center Primary Care Annex, James Island Medical Center, and CenterWell Senior Primary Care. Her experience also includes urgent care, after hours care, and locum assignments that strengthened her adaptability and clinical depth. Dr. Chan believes that high quality care begins with understanding what is most important to each patient and supporting them in putting their health first. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time outdoors and values the insights gained from each patient she serves.
