Karen A. Dy-Patacsil, APRN, FNP, joined Partners in Primary Care as a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Ms. Dy-Patacsil earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada. In her role as a family nurse practitioner, she values the opportunity to properly educate her patients about their diseases and better ways to manage their medical conditions. She enjoys taking her time with her patients to learn about their health history and wellness goals so that she can guide them throughout their healthy journey. Ms. Dy-Patacsil emphasizes the importance of building a relationship with her patients founded on trust and communication. This allows her to better address their health factors to develop a personalized care plan that's created for their individual needs. She encourages maintenance care and promotes regular preventative screenings to her patients as key factors to staying healthy. Ms. Dy-Patacsil chose healthcare as a way to make a difference in people's lives by helping them become healthy individuals. When she's not at the office caring for patients, Ms. Dy-Patacsil enjoys traveling and watching all types of sports.
