Dr. Josselin Rodolphe Vachon, a fellowship-trained, board-certified internal medicine specialist, completed a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Orlando Health in 2024 as chief fellow and his internal medicine residency at the same institution in 2021 as chief resident. Dr. Vachon earned his medical degree from Paris Descartes University, and he trained in sleep medicine at Bichat Hospital in Paris. His accolades include the Junior Cardiology Fellow of the Year and Richard B. Hornick Humanitarian Award. He has co-authored publications on myocarditis and thromboses, delivered oral presentations, and presented posters on sleep apnea, winning first prize at a French Sleep Medicine Conference. Before joining us in 2024, Dr. Vachon provided primary care at Nuffield Health in London, England, and earlier with SOS Médecins in Paris, France. Passionate about heart health and obesity, his experience includes home visits for seniors, and he believes listening to patients is vital to their well-being. Dr. Vachon chose medicine to make a meaningful impact and has volunteered at Shepherd's Hope, caring for the uninsured. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and traveling.
