John Belknap, MD

Dr. John David Belknap, MD, is a family medicine physician specializing in adult and senior care. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center after completing a Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering at Mississippi State University and later completed a Family Medicine Residency at North Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Belknap has practiced in family medicine and geriatric-focused settings, managing chronic diseases, reducing polypharmacy, and supporting patients through preventive care, lifestyle counseling, and comprehensive health maintenance. He has held leadership roles including service on medical review and organizational committees, and he has extensive experience as a Medical Review Officer.
