Jo An S. Brisé earned her Bachelor’s in Nursing at Florida International University and her Master’s in Nursing at Florida A&M University. She is board certified in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Central Florida Advanced Nursing Practice Council. She has been working in health care for 19 years, and in addition to English, speaks Haitian Creole. Mrs. Brisé believes that the benefit of CenterWell’s senior-centered healthcare model is its holistic approach in supporting older adults to remain healthy, active, and independent members of their community. What she enjoys about her profession is that there is always something new to learn, clinical developments to keep up with and, opportunities to improve. She appreciates that CenterWell fosters collaboration among a multidisciplinary team to improve the lives of seniors. Mrs. Brisé strives to exceed her patient's expectations by being attentive, responsive, and by providing high-quality individualized care. She believes that the best provider-patient relationships are founded on mutual trust and confidence. Mrs. Brisé is married with two children, a son and daughter. During her time off she loves traveling, painting, biking, and spending time with her family.
