Jewell Lites, APRN

Mrs. Jewell Lites, AGACNP, has joined CenterWell as a board-certified adult geriatric acute care nurse practitioner. Mrs. Lites earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University of Louisiana in Natchitoches, Louisiana. She completed 720 student nurse practitioner clinical practice hours. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Mrs. Lites worked as a registered nurse with Willis Knighton Health System in Shreveport, LA, and North Caddo Medical Center in Vivian, LA. She worked for twelve years as an emergency department nurse and has served her community as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner for the last 8 years. Mrs. Lites values working with older adults for the wealth of knowledge and life experiences they share. Mrs. Lites chose her profession because, in her words, 'As a young woman, seeing my family deal with a multitude of healthcare professionals, I decided that I wanted to be the one people turn to for guidance and care.' In her leisure time, she enjoys gathering with her loved ones, reading books, and exploring the great outdoors.
