Jessica Sass, APRN

Ms. Jessica R. Sass, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, NEA-BC, is a family nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of experience providing primary care, population health leadership, and preventive health services for patients and families of all ages. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Kentucky and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri–Kansas City. Throughout her career, Ms. Sass provided family practice care in clinic, emergency department, urgent care, and community health settings while also serving in healthcare leadership roles focused on quality improvement, care coordination, and population health. She taught as a part-time instructor at the University of Kentucky and mentored nurse practitioner students, residents, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Passionate about health promotion, prevention, heart health, and brain health, Ms. Sass believes in helping patients make healthier choices that support long-term wellness and quality of life. She entered healthcare to make a positive difference in the lives of others and values building lasting relationships with the individuals and families she serves. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and being with her family.
