Jessica Leah Ormsmith, MD

Jessica Ormsmith, MD, is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with extensive experience in primary care, geriatrics, and post-acute care. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University and completed her residency at Chesterfield Family Practice in Richmond, VA. Throughout her career, Dr. Ormsmith has provided comprehensive care in outpatient and inpatient settings, served as a medical director for hospice, home health, and long-term care facilities, and practiced telemedicine. She is passionate about preventive medicine, diabetes management, nutrition, exercise, women's health, and improving quality of life for seniors. Guided by her belief that medicine is a calling, she focuses on building strong relationships with patients and care teams to achieve healthier lives. She fosters these relationships through listening, educating, and exercising compassion. Outside of work, she enjoys performing music, traveling, cooking, and spending time with family.
