Jean Savio Estel, MD

Dr. Jean Savio Estel joined CenterWell as a fellowship-trained, board certified family and geriatric medicine specialist. A Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Dr. Estel performed a geriatric medicine fellowship at Florida Hospital/Advent Health. Dr. Estel completed his family medicine residency at Mayaguez Medical Center in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, named chief resident. He earned his medical degree from the Notre Dame University of Haiti. Before joining CenterWell, Dr. Estel was an attending physician at Metro Health of East Orlando for four years. He has always felt a deep connection to seniors, which began with his maternal grandparents, and he developed a passion for geriatric medicine. According to Dr. Estel, the right doctor-patient relationship is based on mutual respect and trust, and patient satisfaction starts with good communication, listening carefully, and treating each patient as a unique person physically, psychologically, and socially. He believes in constant improvement and learning. As the father of two boys, he says his children's happy faces always make him smile. Outside of his work, he enjoys quality time with family, cooking, and sports.
