Jason Brignac, APRN, FNP-C, joined CenterWell as a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Mr. Brignac earned his Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, in Galveston, Texas. He tells us his desire to help people was the driving force behind choosing a medical profession and that improving people's health gives him the most job satisfaction. Mr. Brignac has worked with older adults in all his previous work settings and considers himself well-rounded in the healthcare field. Before joining CenterWell, he was a nurse practitioner in a family practice clinic for about a year. Before that, as a registered nurse, he worked with the University of Texas Medical Branch Health System in Galveston, Texas, and Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston, Texas, for eight years. Mr. Brignac believes in taking the time to listen to patients to foster a collaborative relationship, which resonates perfectly with CenterWell's compassionate, patient-centered values and approach to care. Outside of his work with his patients, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, and culinary adventures.
