Jane Tsung-Wen Wong Futterer, MD

Dr. Jane Futterer, a fellowship-trained, board-certified internal medicine specialist, completed her nephrology fellowship, internal medicine residency, and an internship at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She earned her medical degree from Tulane School of Medicine and her B.S. in Biology from the University of New Orleans. Dr. Futterer holds a Ph.D. in clinical and experimental medicine from the University of Birmingham and was an instructor at the Washington School of Medicine. She received the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Scholarship, and her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, including the Lancet, Blood, and the Journal of Immunology. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Dr. Futterer was a clinical trials manager at the University of Birmingham and a locum nephrologist at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, UK, and Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. With a passion for seniors, she promotes exercise, proper nutrition, and brain health to enhance their well-being. Dr. Futterer chose medicine to impact people's lives positively. In her free time, she enjoys creating new memories with her family, volunteering, and the great outdoors.
