Dr. James Richard McClamroch, a board-certified internal medicine specialist, performed a cardiology fellowship at Louisiana State University Medical Center, where he completed his internal medicine residency and served as chief resident and clinical instructor. Dr. McClamroch earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans in 1984 after receiving a B.A. in Plan II from the University of Texas at Austin. A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and an Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society member, he has held leadership roles, including chief of staff and chairman of the Department of Medicine at Oak Bend Medical Center. Dr. McClamroch practiced at Southwest Cardiology Associates in Sugar Land, TX, and Oak Bend Medical Group in Richmond, TX, specializing in senior care. His experience with older adults shaped his patient-centered approach, emphasizing preventive care and long-term heart health. Dr. McClamroch believes building trust and empowering patients to make informed decisions is essential to well-being. In his free time, he enjoys reading, spending time with family, and staying active outdoors.
