Dr. James Brian Marx, a board-certified Family Medicine specialist, completed his residency at Trinity Lutheran Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1994. Dr. Marx earned his medical degree magna cum laude from Kansas City University (KCU) in Kansas City, MO, in 1991. He was inducted into the Sigma Sigma Phi Honor Fraternity and holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Rockhurst University, where he worked as a research laboratory assistant in the biology department. Before joining our center in 2024, Dr. Marx practiced at Meritas Health Vivion in Kansas City, MO, from 1996 to 2023 and previously with Health Midwest Northland Family. He appreciates working with seniors, valuing long-term relationships, and the opportunity to impact their quality of life positively. Dr. Marx believes taking the time to listen to his patients can improve their health and well-being, and he is passionate about exercise, heart health, and diabetes management. Outside of work, he enjoys waterskiing, playing guitar, and traveling.
