Jamay R Logan, APRN

Specializing in Family Medicine, Jamay Logan is a recent addition to our Care Team in Morrow, GA. She is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 33 years of experience in the healthcare field. Mrs. Logan earned her multiple credentials as an alumnus of Tuskegee University, Walden University and Troy University. Over the course of 33 years, she has had a wealth of experience in a variety of area hospitals and health centers, namely Grady Health System, Anthem, Rockdale Medical, Signify Health and Northside Hospital. Logans work has included all aspects of acute and managed care, including case management, Quality/UR management, as well as being a Nurse Practitioner clinic provider. She says that her previous roles have been critical to her overall development, both personally and as a clinician, and she looks forward to continuing the excellence in care she sees at CenterWell Primary Care. Logan ensures patient satisfaction by asking how she can assist patients in reaching their personal health goals, as well as asking for their preferences and validating their understanding. She defines the ideal patient-provider relationship as a partnership. Health and health maintenance have always been important to Logan, so it was a natural fit for her to choose a profession where she could help instill that importance in her patients. She says that one of the things she likes best about her job is the autonomy of her role as a provider, and, most importantly, The ability to engage with patients as their partner to seek solutions to their most cumbersome and chronic conditions. Logan is the mother of four and likes to have fun with a purpose. During her time off, you might find her cycling, walking, hiking, reading, writing, or volunteering.
