Jacqueline Adkins-Harris, APRN

Jacqueline Adkins Harris, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. A United States Navy veteran, Ms. Adkins Harris earned her Master of Science in Nursing in 2021 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2018 from South University. She received an Associate of Science in Nursing from Tidewater Community College in Portsmouth, VA, in 2004. Before joining our center in 2024, Ms. Adkins Harris provided primary care at the Farley Center at Williamsburg Place, part of Summit Behavioral Healthcare, and previously with Eventus WholeHealth in Chapel Hill, NC. Earlier, she worked as an RN in the Cardiac Specialty Unit of Sentara OBICI Hospital in Suffolk, VA, and gained extensive experience working with seniors as a medical-surgical/telemetry nurse at Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center in Norfolk, VA, and as a home health nurse in Virginia Beach. Ms. Adkins Harris believes in empowering patients, the Care Team, and herself through comprehensive information and continual learning, and is passionate about brain health, diabetes, and nutrition. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering and cherishes time with her family.
