Ivan Silva, PA, joined CenterWell as a board-certified physician assistant. Mr. Silva earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from the University of Texas-Pan American in Edinburg, Texas. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Mr. Silva provided primary care at Cano Health and previously at Gutierrez-Wong Medical Center. Earlier, he was a clinical laboratory scientist at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, TX. Passionate about improving his patients' lives through nutrition, heart health, and diabetes care, and Mr. Silva finds fulfillment in helping them improve their quality of life through lifestyle modifications and optimized medical treatment. He values treating older adults, dedicating the same time and commitment to his patients as he would to his closest relationships, aligning with CenterWell's compassionate approach to care. Mr. Silva chose healthcare to make a difference in people's lives by helping them prioritize their health. Outside of his work, he enjoys spending time with family, embracing the outdoors, and exploring new food experiences.
