Irene Ngonga, APRN

Mrs. Irene Nchuinang Ngonga, APRN, MSN, FNP C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of clinical, educational, and leadership experience across acute care, primary care, and academic environments. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration from Clayton State University after completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the same institution. Mrs. Ngonga has provided comprehensive care within the Veterans Affairs Health Care System, performing holistic assessments, coordinating evidence based treatment plans, and supporting veterans with complex medical needs. She previously served as a Unit Nurse Educator and Staff Nurse in the Neuro Stroke Unit at Emory University Hospital Midtown, where she led staff training, mentored new nurses, and contributed to major quality improvement initiatives. Her background also includes years of clinical instruction and hands on experience in skilled nursing and rehabilitation settings, ensuring strong expertise in caring for seniors. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys volunteering, listening to music, and cooking.
