India Tapplar, APRN

Mrs. India Cherri Tapplar, DNP, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Northern Kentucky University, a Master of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University and bachelor's degrees from the University of Indianapolis. Mrs. Tapplar provided primary care and preventive services for adults with acute and chronic conditions, including patients in underserved communities. Her clinical experience also included medical-surgical nursing, rehabilitation care, chronic disease management, mental health support and COVID-19 response efforts. Throughout her career, she collaborated with interdisciplinary teams, educated patients and families and helped guide treatment decisions to improve health outcomes. Mrs. Tapplar believes that listening to patients is key to improving their quality of life and health. She entered healthcare because of her passion for helping others and serving her community and is especially passionate about caregiving, food insecurity and obesity. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, volunteering and competing in powerlifting.
