Dr. Hattie Elaine Henderson, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician with extensive experience in geriatric and hospice care. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio, and completed both her residency in Family and Community Medicine and a fellowship in Geriatrics at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Henderson has dedicated her career to direct patient care, serving in leadership roles such as Medical Director at long-term care facilities and as an Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine. Her work spans primary care, hospice, and palliative medicine, with a focus on complex patient management and interdisciplinary coordination. She is actively involved in professional organizations and advisory councils, contributing to healthcare policy and quality improvement. Outside of medicine, Dr. Henderson enjoys doing volunteer work, gardening and listening to music. She is the mother of two adult children.
