Hannah R McGhee, DO

Dr. Hannah McGhee, DO, is a physician specializing in Geriatric Medicine. She graduated with a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia and completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Virginia Tech Carilion followed by a Geriatric Medicine fellowship at George Washington University. Dr. McGhee provided care for older adults in inpatient and outpatient settings and contributed to interdisciplinary geriatric care initiatives, quality improvement projects and advanced care planning efforts. She also served in leadership roles including President of the Group on Women in Medicine and Science- Internal Medicine Section and Vice President of her medical school class. In addition, she taught and mentored medical students, residents and fellows through faculty and clinical education roles. Guided by a philosophy of listening closely to patients, she is passionate about protecting seniors' quality of life, brain health, caregiving and diabetes care. Outside of work, Dr. McGhee enjoys spending time outdoors, reading books and traveling.
