Gregory Peter Desimone, DO

Dr. Gregory P. DeSimone, a board-certified family medicine specialist, completed his family medicine residency at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Dr. DeSimone earned his medical degree from A.T. Still University SOMA in 2016 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northwest Nazarene University. His accolades include an NIH Grant for his research on inflammatory bowel disease, induction into the Alpha Epsilon Delta Honor Society, and serving as a Division II Cross Country Team Captain. Before joining our center in 2024, Dr. DeSimone saw patients as a team lead with West Tropicana Clinic and previously with Southwest Medical Associates, part of OptumCare. Earlier in his career, he operated an ambulance as an emergency medical technician. Dr. DeSimone provides each patient with dedicated time and unwavering commitment, mirroring the care he would offer his loved ones. His passion for addressing diabetes, brain health, and heart health complements his affinity for treating older adults, an experience he finds profoundly rewarding. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family.
