Dr. Gregory Michael Lavins, a family medicine specialist, completed his family medicine residency at the University of Washington (UW). Dr. Lavins earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude from Ohio State University and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He has received academic awards and presented research at medical conferences such as the UW Family Medicine Department Fair and the STFM Spring Conference. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Dr. Lavins was an attending physician at UNC Physicians Network-Orange Family Medical Group in Hillsborough, North Carolina. He is passionate about working with seniors, aiding patients in defining and attaining their health goals through cutting-edge science, technology, mindfulness, and building trust. His fascination with the interplay of human physiology and the environment led Dr. Lavins to choose a career in medicine, finding immense pleasure in empowering patients to understand and take control of their health. Outside of work, he likes working in his garden, playing folk guitar, and relaxing with a good book.
