Dr. Gordon H. Clark is a board-certified physician with specialties in Certified Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine. Dr. Clark completed his medical education and residency in Family Practice at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, UMC Lafayette. After 17 years of practicing medicine, he recently joined our Bossier City clinic in Louisiana. Dr. Clark’s breadth of experience includes being a staff physician in primary care clinics, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), an urgent care clinic, a women’s correctional institute, a rural clinic, including serving as Medical Director of Lake Charles Memorial Hospital’s Wound Care Center. Dr. Clark loves positive feedback from his patients and feels that they sense that he genuinely cares about their health and wellbeing. He says he’s developed “little talks" that help patients understand the disease process and realize how changes will improve their health. Dr. Clark has been pleased to get enough time scheduled with patients to properly assess and educate them, which improves compliance. Dr. Clark believes the best doctor-patient relationship should be open, honest, non-judgmental, showing empathy and compassion. In his time off, Dr. Clark likes to carve up twisty roads in his sports car and explore mountains and forests in his RZR Side by Side, off-road vehicle.
