Gladimar Gonzalez Ramos, MD

Dr. Gladimar Gonzalez Ramos, MD, specializes in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York. She later pursued a Geriatric Medicine fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital/UM Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. Dr. Gonzalez Ramos has provided care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a focus on elderly patients managing complex chronic conditions. Her clinical expertise includes falls prevention, memory care, and frailty management. She has contributed to research on long COVID and diagnostic imaging in vasculitis, and actively participated in quality improvement initiatives for HIV care. She has also volunteered in underserved communities in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. Outside of medicine, Dr. Gonzalez Ramos enjoys culinary arts, travel, photography, and mindfulness practices.
