Gabriel Omar Estrada Sotomayor, MD

Dr. Gabriel Estrada Sotomayor, a board-certified family medicine specialist, completed his residency at Saint Francis Hospital in Wilmington, DE, in 2024. Dr. Estrada Sotomayor earned his medical degree from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara in 2016. He has presented research at the Delaware Academy of Family Physicians Annual Meetings 2022 and 2023, focusing on pneumococcal disease and global telemedicine. Before joining us in 2024, Dr. Estrada Sotomayor worked as a functional technologist with Functional Healthcare in Matawan, NJ, and gained extensive clinical experience in various specialties, including surgery, family medicine, psychiatry, and internal medicine, at several hospitals in Las Vegas, NV. His experience working with seniors and dedication to addressing diabetes, obesity, and loneliness highlight his commitment to compassionate care. His commitment extends to volunteer work with the Global Health Ministry in Piura, Peru, and telemedicine and community health programs. In his free time, he enjoys creating new family memories and exploring the outdoors.
