Fuzhan Parhizgar, MD

Dr. Fuzhan Parhizgar, completed her residency at the University of Nevada Reno School of Medicine in 2014, receiving the Barbara O'Rourke Outstanding Resident of the Year Award. Dr. Parhizgar earned her medical degree and MBA in Health Organization Management from Texas Tech University, following a B.S. summa cum laude in Biology in undergrad where she was Valedictorian. Dr. Parhizgar has co-authored studies in publications, including the Journal of Infectious Diseases, obtained research awards from the American College of Physicians and published numerous books. Before joining us in 2024, Dr. Parhizgar treated patients at Reliant Health Clinic and Elite Medical Center. She also was a hospitalist for more than 10 years at University Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV. Dedicated to managing complex conditions such as heart disease and diabetes, she emphasizes brain health, and a care philosophy rooted in respect and compassion. Dr. Parhizgar chose medicine to help others and serve her community. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, photography, listening to music, and family gatherings.
