Dr. Frank Darrell Wade, a board-certified family medicine specialist, completed his residency and medical degree at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. Dr. Wade has taught as an attending physician at Saint Thomas Rutherford and Stonecrest hospitals. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Wade saw patients with CareHere/PremiseHealth clinics throughout Tennessee for twenty years, led Family Practice of Murfreesboro for ten years, and practiced at Family Health Associates from 2001 to 2006. As an attending physician at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital from 2001 to 2011, he treated patients in the ICU, CCU, and all medical floors. He provided geriatric services in clinical and assisted living settings. Dr. Wade chose medicine to help individuals prioritize their health. His patient-centered philosophy embraces a culture of caring. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, music, and traveling. He supports initiatives addressing food insecurity and community well-being and maintains active memberships in the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Tennessee Medical Association.
