Francin Jean Baptiste, MD

Dr. Francin Jean Baptiste, MD, is a physician specializing in adult and geriatric care. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Faculté de Médecine et de Pharmacie UEH in Haiti and completed additional training, including a pulmonary residency and internship rotation in Puerto Rico. Dr. Jean Baptiste has served in diverse clinical settings, including roles as Medical Director, managed care clinician, ER physician, correctional health clinician, medical assistant, and interpreter, bringing extensive experience supporting adult and senior populations. He has worked closely with geriatric patients for four years, focusing on listening with intention, identifying mobility and sensory impairments, and promoting independence through personalized care. His background also includes leadership as a medical director in both Haiti and the U.S., as well as community service through translation and interpretation roles. Guided by a philosophy centered on listening to patients to improve quality of life, he is passionate about diabetes, exercise, and obesity prevention. Outside of medicine, he enjoys traveling, reading books, and spending time with family.
