Erica Isom, MD

Erica Taylor Isom, MD, is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician specializing in adult and geriatric care. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, and completed her residency at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Isom has provided comprehensive primary care across diverse settings, including Kaiser Permanente, where she served for seven years, and Medical Director Services, where she cared for geriatric patients in long-term care facilities and held a leadership role as Medical Director. She most recently practiced at Aylo Health, offering preventive care, chronic disease management, and collaborative treatment planning. Her experience includes mentoring nurse practitioners, leading quality improvement initiatives, and teaching biology at the undergraduate level. Outside of medicine, Dr. Isom enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, watching Disney movies, hiking, and participating in church and community service activities.
