Elizabeth Marie Byers, APRN

Elizabeth Marie Byers, ARNP, a board-certified advanced registered nurse practitioner, earned her Master of Science in Nursing, With Honors, from Saint Louis University in 2016, and her BSN from William Jewell College. She served as a clinical instructor at Saint Luke's Hospital from 2013 to 2016. Before joining our center in 2024, Ms. Byers was a post-acute cardiology nurse practitioner at TeamHealth, promoting healthy lifestyle changes among high-risk patients. She previously worked as a nurse practitioner at Tallgrass Creek in Overland Park, KS, caring for over 850 senior living community residents. Earlier, she practiced as an RN and as a neuroscience RN at St. Luke's Hospital, where she was appointed charge nurse and received accolades for high patient satisfaction scores. Ms. Byers' affinity for treating older adults is evident in her passion for nutrition, exercise, and addressing loneliness through socialization. She believes taking the time to listen is paramount for improving her patient's health and quality of life. Ms. Byers chose healthcare to make a difference in people's lives. Outside of work, she enjoys time with family, reading books, and going to the movies.
