Dr. Eleida Tur Oliva, a board-certified family medicine specialist, completed the Montgomery Family Medicine Residency Program with Baptist Health, Alabama, in 2017. Dr. Tur Oliva earned her medical degree from the University of Havana School of Medical Sciences in 1991. She later served as an attending physician and assistant professor at the Dr. Diego Tamayo Policlinic in Havana, Cuba, and presented at international medical conferences. Before joining us in 2024, Dr. Tur Oliva provided primary care at Bluegrass Partners in Health and worked at Vohra Wound Physicians. She previously offered comprehensive care for underserved populations at HealthPoint Family Care and treated veterans at the Cincinnati and Montgomery VA Medical Centers. From 2001 to 2002, she practiced family medicine at the Santa Julia Public Family Health Care Center in Santiago, Chile. Dr. Tur Oliva chose medicine to safeguard the well-being of seniors. She is passionate about brain health, diabetes, and addressing food insecurity and believes that listening to her patients is vital to improving their health and quality of life. Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, cooking, and spending time with her family.
