Dorrie Taneisha Edgeston-Jones, APRN

Dorrie Edgeston-Jones a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and nurse leader, earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2023, Master of Science in Nursing in 2014, Baccalaureate in 2008, and Respiratory Therapy associate degree in 2001. Dr. Edgeston-Jones is a Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing inductee and has led initiatives to improve behavioral crisis response. Before joining us in 2024, Dr. Edgeston-Jones was an Advanced Practice Clinician in adult care. Her leadership roles include clinical administration, nursing management, and professional development. She is committed to addressing social determinants of health, enhancing health literacy, and promoting optimal health and well-being. Dr. Edgeston-Jones chose healthcare to make a positive impact through compassion and quality care. She mentors nurse practitioner students, supports diversity initiatives, engages in community service, and enjoys being an active member of her church.
