Dr. Dorin T. Popa joined CenterWell as a board-certified family medicine specialist. Dr. Popa completed his family medicine residency at the University of Nevada-Reno. He earned his medical degree from the University of California-Davis. A multiple-year recipient of the Patients Choice Award, America's Most Honored Doctors, and the Compassionate Doctor Award, Dr. Popa focuses on caring for seniors. Before joining CenterWell, Dr. Popa practiced family medicine with One Life Medical Center/Optima Medical and previously Banner Health. Caring for patients and tackling the challenges that come with healthcare changes are two of the things he enjoys most. At CenterWell, his goal is to provide the best possible care to patients through a collaborative team approach. An advocate for proactive care, he believes that regular follow-ups, active listening, and thorough responses to patient concerns contribute to their satisfaction. Dr. Popa is a man of faith, investing in the lives of others. Happily married with two children who brighten his days, he treasures time spent with his family, reading, and the outdoors, and brings a holistic approach to both his professional and personal life.
