Disha Shah, MD

Dr. Disha M. Shah, a fellowship-trained, board-certified family medicine specialist, performed her geriatric medicine fellowship at Emory University following her family medicine residency at the University of North Dakota, Bismarck. Dr. Shah holds a Master of Science in Public Health from Arcadia University. She earned her medical degree from the M.S. University of Baroda in India. An Alpha Omega Alpha honoree, she has co-authored research in publications, including the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society, Congenital Heart Disease, and Circulation. Before joining us in 2024, Dr. Shah was an attending primary care and geriatrics physician at the Community Medical Clinic in Oakgrove, KY, and Tennessee Valley Health System, and worked as a locum tenens hospitalist at Henderson County Community Hospital, Dyersburg Regional Medical Center, and St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck, ND. Passionate about addressing heart and brain health, diabetes, obesity, and loneliness/socialization, Dr. Shah believes in preventive health and personalized care. Outside work, she enjoys time with family, traveling, and listening to music.
