Dr. Dirk Thompson joined CenterWell as a board-certified family medicine specialist. Dr. Thompson completed his family medicine residency at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Thompson is passionate about helping people live healthier lives and says he was drawn to CenterWell for its care model that allows physicians to spend significant time with their patients during appointments. He now has time to review the health goals of each individual patient and can then create a care plan that helps them achieve those health goals. Additionally, he is able to improve patient outcomes by leveraging his extensive experience with health IT technologies. Dr. Thompson has three children, and when he's not in the office, he cherishes quality moments with his nearest and dearest.
