Debra K Hunter, PAC

Ms. Debra Hunter, B.S., PA-C, is a certified Physician Assistant with a strong background in family medicine, geriatrics, and rehabilitation care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Health Allied Health Science Center in Dallas, Texas, where she also completed a residency at Parkland Hospital. Ms. Hunter has provided comprehensive care in various settings, including family practice, emergency care, and skilled nursing facilities. She served as a Clinical Consultant for United Healthcare, a Physician Assistant at WellMed Medical Group, and worked extensively with Premier Health Services and Dr. Andrea Brown's Family Practice. Her responsibilities included chronic illness management, wound care, minor procedures, and patient education. Earlier in her career, she contributed to mental health services as a caseworker for Dallas County Mental Health. Ms. Hunter has also participated in continuing education and grand rounds through UT Southwestern and Children's Medical Center. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys the outdoors, spending time with family, and traveling.
