Debalina Das, MD

Dr. Debalina Das, MD, MPH, FACP, is a board-certified internal medicine physician with extensive experience in primary care, rehabilitation medicine, hospice care, medical education, and public health. She earned her MBBS degree from Calcutta Medical College in India and a Master of Public Health from East Tennessee State University. Throughout her career, Dr. Das provided comprehensive care to adults and older adults in primary care clinics, rehabilitation hospitals, hospice settings, acute care facilities, and Veterans Affairs healthcare systems. She served in numerous leadership and academic roles, including Associate Program Director, Site Director, Senior Student Clerkship Director, Associate Professor of Medicine, and Physician Director. Passionate about diabetes, heart health, exercise, mental health, and reducing social isolation, she focuses on helping patients make healthier choices that improve their quality of life and overall well-being. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading mystery novels, cooking, watching movies, and spending time with her family.
