Deanna King, MD

Deanna King, MD, is a board-certi?ed physician, specializing in internal medicine. Dr. King earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine in Charleston, SC, in 2019. This was after she received her master's degree in biology from Winthrop University in 2014 and her bachelor's degree in biology from Furman University in 2012. She completed her internal medicine residency at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC in 2022. Before joining CenterWell in October 2024, Dr. King served as a Primary Care Physician at ChenMed in Charlotte, NC where she provided comprehensive primary care services for seniors. Dr. King says her patients are her favorite part of being a primary care physician. She strives to learn about patients beyond their medical concerns and enjoys building honest connections. If she could change anything about healthcare today, she would increase accessibility and affordability. When Dr. King is not with her patients, she can be found spending time with her dog and caring for her many plants. She also enjoys painting.
