Dana R. Singletary, APRN FNP-C, has joined CenterWell as a board-certified family nurse practitioner. A healthcare professional since 2007, Mrs. Singletary earned her Master of Science in Nursing-Primary Care from Indiana Wesleyan University in Louisville following her Bachelor of Science, Registered Nurse, from the same institution. She received her Associate of Science in Nursing from Galen College of Nursing in Louisville, KY. Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Mrs. Singletary was a certified family nurse practitioner with Family Health Center for four years and a telemetry staff nurse with Baptist Health Louisville for two years. She cherishes her senior patients for their wisdom and knowledge and revels in seeing their health improve. And she believes in treating each patient with the care she would give to her own family or friends, a philosophy of compassionate care that resonates with CenterWells values. Mrs. Singletary chose healthcare thanks to both her grandmothers. Each worked in hospitals for over 50 years, one as an LPN and one in dietary. When she would visit them, they would always have a story about how a patient touched their hearts. My grandmothers told me, God has gifted you to serve and change lives. Go, and walk in your calling. And my decision to be a healthcare provider has been the best Ive ever made, she says. Outside of her work, she enjoys quality time with her family, traveling, and crafting.
