Dan E Calleja, MD

Dr. Dan Eugene Calleja is an internal medicine physician with extensive experience in primary care, hospital medicine, and pulmonary care. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine and completed an Internal Medicine residency at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn, followed by a Pulmonary Medicine fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital. Throughout his career, Dr. Calleja provided care to adults and older adults in primary care offices, hospitals, and nursing home settings. His experience included managing acute and chronic conditions, coordinating patient care across healthcare settings, and helping patients make informed decisions about their health. He is passionate about caregiving and believes his role is to help patients make healthier choices that support long-term well-being and quality of life. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, listening to music, and going to the movies.
