Cindy Petermann has been providing healthcare to seniors in a professional capacity since 2007, but her experience actually began in childhood, helping her mother, a nurse, care for her great-grandparents and grandparents. Cindy is a board-certified Adult and Gerontological Nurse Practitioner with a BSN from William Paterson University and an MSN from Seton Hall. Before CenterWell, Cindys roles included Regional Manager at Optum Care, Nurse Practitioner and Director of Facilities Management at Bernhards Family Practice, as well as Nurse Practitioner at SubAcute Rehab and Erickson Senior Living. Throughout her 40-year career in healthcare, Cindy has worked in just about every senior care setting there is primary care, assisted living, skilled nursing, subacute rehab, continuing care residential communities, and hospice care. In her opinion, CenterWells value-based care model is the best. Cindy enjoys helping seniors optimize their current health situation. She does this by listening, finding out what her patients health goals are and acting as their guide and counselor. She is married, with two grown children, and two granddaughters who live nearby. During her time off, she enjoys hiking, gardening, boating, reading, and spending time with her family.
