Corina G Serna, APRN

Corina Garcia Serna MSN, RN, A-GNP-C is a board-certified adult-gerontology nurse practitioner. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. Ms. Garcia Serna earned a Master of Science, Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Nursing. She is completing a Doctorate in Nursing Practice at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston School of Nursing. Ms. Garcia Serna was contracted with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner. She previously worked as a home visiting adult-gerontology nurse practitioner and as a primary nurse practitioner at Mi Doctor Family Clinic. Earlier, she practiced as an RN at Memorial Hermann Hospital TMC, caring for critically ill, chronic patients, and end-of-life patients and their families in a Medical Intensive Care Unit. She believes that listening to her patients is vital to improving their health and quality of life. When she's not with her patients, she enjoys spending time with family, the outdoors, and reading.
