Christopher J. Foti, MD

Dr. Christopher Jude Foti, a board-certified family medicine physician and obesity medicine specialist, completed his family medicine residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA, following his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine, Shreveport, in 2005. With extensive experience in primary care and weight management, Dr. Foti is dedicated to patient-centered education and ongoing professional growth. Before joining our center in 2024, Dr. Foti served nearly a decade as a primary care physician with FMOL Health System in Baton Rouge, LA. He also practiced at Quick Trim Medical Weight Loss Clinic in Alexandria and provided urgent care via telemedicine on the Amwell platform. Earlier roles included positions at LGMC Urgent Care in Lafayette, Kistachie Medical Center in Alexandria, and Marksville Family Care Center, focusing on primary and urgent care. Dr. Foti finds his work with older adults especially rewarding. In his free time, he enjoys family activities, exploring the outdoors, and traveling.
