Christine S Johnson, MD

Dr. Christine Johnson joined CenterWell as a board-certified internal medicine specialist. She is also board eligible in geriatrics. Dr. Johnson completed her internal medicine residency at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas at Austin in Austin, Texas. Dr. Johnson entered the medical profession to help people through some of their most challenging moments and because she finds the practice endlessly fascinating. She has an affinity for seniors and enjoys meeting and following their health trajectory and helping to manage their medical conditions. She says the best part of her job is earning her patients' trust to manage their conditions and guiding them to better health. Dr. Johnson believes that listening and shared decision-making ensure patient satisfaction and that the right doctor-patient relationship is based on mutual trust. In her time off, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with her two little rescued Chihuahua mixes she adopted during her residency in New Mexico. She also enjoys trying out new restaurants with her boyfriend, watching Netflix, and hanging out at the poolside with her family.
